If you follow me on Instagram or Snapchat or here, you know that I’m a sucker for anything sweet for breakfast. Don’t make that ‘EW sweet in the morning?’ face at me! I get that a lot actually. I usually make smoothies or chia pudding for breakfast to satisfy my sweet-tooth.
I love the fact that apart from it is SO instagrammable, it also
- satisfies my sweet craving
- AND at the same time motivates me to have breakfast
- SUPER healthy( OMEGA3s, lots of fiber and protein)
- can be made in a jiffy/ grab-n-go kinds
Here’s how I make it.
Chia seeds- 1/3 cup
Unsweetened Almond Milk- 1 cup
Maple syrup or honey- 1tsp
Add chia seeds and almond milk to a mason jar and let it sit overnight or minimum 30 mins.
Add the fruits you have in hand, I added couple of dates, blackberries, strawberries, coconut flakes, almond slivers, mango coulis. I have also tried with all the nut butters and feel free to add all kind of fruits and nuts. I’m sure it’ll keep you full and love it!
