If you have been following me here or Instagram, you know that I’m a sucker for smoothies. I love how yummy, healthy and filling it is. Checks all the boxes! I also love how you can play around with the ingredients and develop new recipes. Most of my smoothies look green but definitely doesn’t taste the same. My smoothies are green because I love me some spinach/kale in my smoothies. This time I just added some spinach, green apple and a tiny piece of ginger.Trust me that tiny piece goes a long way, I’m sure you wouldn’t want ginger to be dominating. So here’s how i made it.
You will need-
- 1 green apple
- a handful of spinach
- 1 tiny piece of ginger
- 1 cup of almond milk
And for the toppings
Granola crumble, coconut flakes. You can also use nuts, chia seeds, cookie crumble or even fresh fruits.
Add all the ingredients except the toppings of course and blend them until smooth.
Pour it into a bowl and add the toppings one by one. Enjoy!
