
- Chickpeas/channa- 1/2 cup
- Shredded Coconut- 2 tbsp
- Salt- 1/2 tsp
- Oil- 1 tsp
- Mustard seeds- 1 tsp
- Urad dal- 1 tsp
- Asafoetida- a pinch
- Red chili- 2 (break into 4 pieces)
- Soak channa overnight and pressure cook it in 3 cups of water for 5 whistles.
- Heat a pan with oil and add mustard seeds to it. Wait for it to sizzle and add rest of the ingredients.
- Drain the water from cooked channa and add it to the pan. Mix well.
- Add coconut and mix well again.
- Serve it hot. Enjoy.

Ah!! Here we differ!! Sundal made of any lentil, I hate!! Like a prasadam, I take one or two, that’s it!! 😀 I dread Navarathri only for this- that for 9 continuous days I must eat Sundal 🙁 But, I will try this recipe for the sake of people like you to enjoy 😛
