Let It Snow!

So we had the first snow of the season in Chicago this week. This is my fifth winter in Chicago and yet it’s so special every time it snows. Four years ago on a cold cold evening, we landed in Chicago. We were jetlagged AF and woke up to our stomachs rambling at 4 am and we drove to Denny’s for breakfast. We planted our bums on a window side booth, little did I know that there’s gonna be a grand show outside. While I was busy digging into eggs, there were fluffy flurries falling down. I don’t have a photo of it, but it’s captured so well in my eyes. It felt like someone from up above had a pillow fight and it tore into million feathers that gently touched the ground.
